ChatPort ("we," "us," "ChatPort") is operated by ClarkApps. This policy explains what information we collect when you use ChatPort (including the ChatPort browser extension), how we use it, and who we share it with.
Information We Collect
- Account information: When you register, we collect your name and email address.
- Conversation content: The text messages, voice audio, and images you send to Eve within ChatPort, so the service can generate a response.
- Usage and billing data: Your token/credit balance and usage, so we can operate the free-tier and paid features of the service.
- Cookies: We use cookies to keep you signed in and recognize your account across visits.
The ChatPort Browser Extension
The ChatPort browser extension adds a right-click option on images. When you use it, the extension opens a new browser tab to ChatPort with the image's URL — the extension itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data on its own. Once the image reaches ChatPort in that new tab, it's handled the same way as any other content you share with Eve, as described in this policy.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account and keep you signed in.
- To operate the conversation with Eve, including sending your messages, voice, and images to our AI provider (Google's Gemini API) to generate a response.
- To track and enforce token/credit balances.
- To verify you're not a bot during registration (via Cloudflare Turnstile).
- To respond if you contact us for support or more tokens.
Third Parties We Share Data With
- Google (Gemini API): The content of your conversations — text, voice audio, and images — is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate Eve's responses. Google's own privacy terms govern how they handle that data on their end.
- Cloudflare (Turnstile): Used during registration to verify you're a real person, not a bot.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time using the contact information below.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
