ChatPort Help

ChatPort gives you two separate, always-live conversations — Voice and Text — each in its own tab. Switch between them any time; whichever one you're not looking at keeps running in the background, so neither conversation is ever paused or lost.

🎙️ Using Voice

  1. Type a message and hit Enter, or tap the 🎤 mic button to talk instead.
  2. To share an image:
    1. Tap the + button to pick an image, or paste one in
    2. Type a caption if you want (optional)
    3. Hit Enter, or tap the send arrow
    Eve or Kyle will respond by describing the image.

In public, wear headphones. Replies are spoken out loud by default — tap the 🔊 in the Voice panel to switch to text-only instead. Your choice is remembered on this device.

💬 Using Text

  1. Type a message and hit Enter, or tap the send arrow.
  2. Pick which AI answers you — Gemini or OpenAI — from the picker in the Text panel's header.
  3. Ask it to "draw me a..." or "paint a picture of..." for an AI-generated image, right in the conversation.
  4. Ask it to "find" or "show" a real photo of a person, place, or thing — or tap the 🔎 button under the message box — to pull up to 5 real photos from the web.

📲 Add ChatPort to Your iOS Home Screen

  1. Open your Safari browser on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Go to: https://chatport.clarkapps.com
  3. Tap the Share icon (square with arrow)
  4. Select Add to Home Screen
  5. Name it ChatPort
  6. Tap Add to finish
  7. Done! ChatPort is now one tap away—just like a native app.
